Anyone considering a new job, a career change or even starting a business can meet employers, advisers and employment specialists at this yearβs Warsaw Job and Entrepreneurship Fair.
The free event takes place on 29 September 2026 at PGE Narodowy, bringing together employers and institutions offering opportunities across a range of sectors. Visitors can drop in between 10:00 and 17:00, whether they already have a particular role in mind or are simply looking for some direction.
Meet employers and get practical career advice
The fair offers the chance to speak directly with recruiters and find out what companies are currently looking for. Visitors are encouraged to bring a CV, while professional CV photographs will also be available at the venue.
For anyone unsure about their next move, the Career Advice Salon will offer individual conversations with advisers. This could be useful for people considering retraining, weighing up several career options or returning to the job market.
There will also be an opportunity to explore different professions through VR. The virtual reality experience is designed to give visitors a more practical sense of what working in selected occupations can actually involve.
Talks on recruitment, salaries and AI
A programme of short talks will run throughout the day, covering some of the issues that are increasingly relevant to people looking for work.
Topics include:
preparing a CV for recruiters
the growing role of AI in recruitment and job applications
preparing for an interview
discussing salary with prospective employers
using LinkedIn when looking for work
planning a career while the labour market is changing
finding work abroad safely
The programme will also look at developments in the Warsaw labour market and what they mean for people looking for their next professional opportunity.
A discussion about age and stereotypes at work
One of the main sessions will be the conference "Po co nam stereotypy?" (βWhy do we need stereotypes?β), organised by the Labour Office of the Capital City of Warsaw.
The discussion will look at how assumptions about age, experience and other characteristics can influence decisions made by both employers and employees. Speakers will consider the experiences of people under 30, those over 50 and people with disabilities, alongside wider questions around diversity and recruitment.
The session will include contributions from different perspectives and an opportunity for audience questions.
Looking for work elsewhere in Europe?
The fair will also connect visitors with EURES, the European network supporting employment mobility across Europe.
Information will be available about vacancies in Poland and other European countries, as well as living and working conditions abroad. EURES advisers from other countries will also give presentations, while visitors can learn more about avoiding potential problems when searching for work overseas.
The physical fair is being held alongside an online edition, giving jobseekers another way to explore opportunities.
Information for people considering a business
Entrepreneurship also features in the programme, with sessions aimed at people thinking about starting their own company as well as those who already have a business idea.
The programme includes advice on choosing useful training, the impact of new technologies on the labour market and issues to consider before setting up a business.
With free entry and a broad programme, the event is open to jobseekers at different stages of their working lives, including people who are still deciding what they want to do next.
